Meal time is faith time: Weekly "RECIPES" for passing on your faith.

gather a whole bunch of candles. They can be a bag of tealights or a variety of candles you have around the house. Place them all on a sheet of foil in the center of your dinner table. Using long matches and a watchful eye on younger family members, pass the match around asking each person to name something he/she is thankful for and to light a candle. Pass matches around until all the candles are lit or everybody has shared as much as they want. Younger kids really enjoy coming up with things to prayer about when they can light a candle. End the prayer with a sentence or two of thanks and praise to God who gave His Son, the light of the world.
The value of a family meal can't be overstated.
