Health Ministry
and Parish Nursing
Starting at All Saints

Health care professionals interested in serving on a team (advisory board type with minimal time commitment) and registered nurses interested in volunteering in Parish Nursing program are invited to contact Maritta Fink (ext 21).

Health Ministry combines the skills of both health professionals and lay persons to promote “whole person health” and spiritual support for the congregation and surrounding community. A parish nurse focuses on the whole person to emphasize wellness and health promotion. Blending caring & compassion with promoting health & well-being, parish nursing encompasses the following: health educator, personal health counselor & advocate, facilitator of health support groups & interpreter of the relationship between health & faith.

Senior Ministries

Senior Ministry Mission Statement

Enabling seniors to continue to experience the baptismal promise of being part of the Lord’s family.

“But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body's growth in building itself up in love.”               Ephesians 4:15-16

Older adults from early retirees and empty nesters on up are invited to participate and help with events. Contact Maritta or a team member if you have questions or would like to join us.

Calling Tree

Do you live alone?  Would you like a daily reassurance call from an All Saints friend?

Calling Tree is just what you're looking for.  Calling Tree is a service offered by volunteers from All Saints Lutheran Church.  The program is offered year round and without charge.

Every morning program participants call their designated volunteer.  When a volunteer does not receive a call from their appointed participant, they will initiate a standard procedure to locate the participant and ensure that he/she does not need assistance.

For more information, please contact Bonnie Lokken or Maritta Fink of click
More Information to read more about the program.
