THURSDAY NIGHT MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
This Men’s Bible Study meets every other Thursday night from 8:00—9:00 p.m. in the office workroom. The group is using the Master Builders Bible for Men, the Lutheran Men in Mission edition of the SERENDIPITY BIBLE for Personal and Small Group Study. The men are currently studying “Spiritual Basics” for being a Christian. The study is open to all men in the congregation and from our community.
The vision of Lutheran Men in Mission is for every man to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through an effective men’s ministry in every congregation.
Contact the church office for meeting dates and/or to obtain a copy of the Master Builders Bible for Men. We look forward to your participation!
Please contact Carole Becker at ext. 105 or cbecker@allsaintsphoenix.org for additional information.
9:00 AM Utilizing the newest "People of Faith" and "Books of Faith" series, a 16-week study will be broken down into the following 4-week sessions:
9/19-10/10 - "A Gardener, Two Travelers, and a Cheat"
(Adam, Abraham, Sarah, and Jacob)
10/17-11/7 - "A Lamenter, a Dreamer, and Two Pretty Good Leaders" (Rachel, Joseph, Moses, and Joshua)
11/14-12/5 - "A Great-Grandma to a King, a King-Maker, a King, and a Royal Pain" (Ruth, Samuel, David, and Elijah)
12/12-1/16 - "A Prostitute, Two Prophets, and Poor Ol'Job"
(Gomer, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Job)
10:45 AM Beginning on 9/19, join us for an 8-week study entitled "God Is Able."
Scripture says it over and over. God is able. Who is He? Why is He able? Able to do what? What is able? What difference does it make? Explore the Old and New Testaments to gain understanding about God's abilities and His reasons for choosing us. Perhaps in getting to know God a little more intimately, we will understand ourselves better as well.
