MOPS at All Saints
Mothers of Preschoolers! MOPS
Every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 9:15am to 11:15am in the Fellowship Hall. Next meeting is October 16th!
If you are or know a mother of a preschooler that could use 2 hours of social time, encouragement and parenting education twice a month, consider MOPS at All Saints. The moms have great programming while their children are cared for in a loving learning environment.
Our new year is beginning and our theme is Adventures in Mothering. Through discussion groups, engaging speakers, fun crafts and fellowship with other moms, we promise an exciting, enlightening and thought provoking couple of hours at MOPS at All Saints. Join us for the fun -- a registration form can be downloaded from this site.
A minimal fee of $5 per meeting is requested. Various pay methods are available as are confidential scholarships. Refer to the MOPS registration form for more information.

How can I help?
If you believe mothering matters
and families are important please read on...
Do you remember raising your children and wishing you had a way to connect with other moms going through the same trials and joys you were currently having? Do you have the desire to rock a baby or read a book to a child the same age as your grandchild that lives 500 miles away? Do you sometimes feel like you have lots of time and no real way to feel fulfilled? Well if you have an extra 2 1/2 hours every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month we'd like for you to inquire about helping with MOPS.
We are in need of "seasoned" moms, we call them Mentor Moms. These ladies encourage the moms currently raising their families. You will help faciliate a small discussion group, help the ladies feel welcomed (and missed when they aren't able to attend by checking in with them.) and give the "new" moms your tried and true ways that 'worked'...
We also need caregivers for our MOPpets...what is a MOPPET? MOPpets are children newborn to not yet old enough for Kindergarten. These kids, if in the nursery, need to be rocked, played with and maybe be sung or read to. If you like the smell of babies or enjoy playing with little ones, we'd love to have your time.
Babies aren't your preferred age group, then how about kids 2 years and up. These kids are cute as can be and learning like sponges! These MOPpets need the care of people who like to play with trains, blocks, dishes, dinosaurs and read a few books. The kids enjoy a lesson and a movie and always have a snack! If you would love to get hugs around your knees then please don't hesitate to talk with Carole or Rendy.
If you would like to volunteer we'd love to talk with you about your desire to help. Volunteers helping with the MOPPETS must currently worship at All Saints and must be recorded as doing so in the church office.
