Don’t miss this WILD RIDE THROUGH GOD’S WORD! If you’re a kid from 3 years to 6th grade you’re invited to participate in this adventure…if you’re an older cuss then join us as a volunteer. Don’t miss a single minute of this gun slinging good time as we learn these great Bible Points, Stories and Verses from the Bible.

Day 1 - God is Real

Bible Point: God is real.
Bible Story: Rahab protects the Israelite spies (Joshua 2).
Treasure Verse: “The Lord is the only true God” (Jeremiah 10:10).

Day 2 - God is with us

Bible Point: God is with us.
Bible Story: The Israelites cross the Jordan River (Joshua 3–4).
Treasure Verse: “For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

Day 3 - God is strong

Bible Point: God is strong.
Bible Story: The walls of Jericho crash down (Joshua 6).
Treasure Verse: “The Lord is my strength” (Psalm 118:14).

Day 4 - God is awesome

Bible Point: God is awesome.
Bible Story: Jesus dies and rises again (Mark 15–16).
Treasure Verse: “For the Lord Most High is awesome” (Psalm 47:2).

Day 5 - God is in charge

Bible Point: God is in charge.
Bible Story: God heals Naaman (2 Kings 5).
Treasure Verse:“If you love me, obey my commandments” (John 14:15).

Avalanche Ranch Overview

Kids join a Ranch Crew. Each crew rotates through stations everyday. The daily Bible Point is reinforced at every station. Stations include:

Opening
Wild Bible Adventure
Chuck Wagon Chow
Horseplay Games
Cowpoke Crafts

And Finale/Roundup

Kids 3 years – going into Kindergarten attend Prairie Dog Camp and also attend Chadder’s Wild West Theater

This year’s Offering and Outreach:
Shoes, Socks and Underwear for Hidden Hills and Sunny Slope Elementary Schools

Bring in new socks and underwear for kids entering K-8th grade
New and gently used tennis shoes are welcome.
(No flip-flops, sandals or other strapless shoes please.)

The kids in Prairie Dog Camp will also make teddy bears for children living at the Tierra Santa Orphanage in Honduras. The bears will be given to the kids at Christmas, if you would like to donate other items for the children or sponsor a child for as little as $25 a month please click on the following link Tierra Santa for more information. Friday Night Finale…The kids have their final round-up on Friday night at 7pm. This is an opportunity to share with family and friends what took place all week. Kids will sing songs they have learned, tell you all about the stories they learned and watch a PowerPoint. Then it is off to the Fellowship Hall and courtyard for fun and games and songs around the campfire…(well it may be too hot for the camp fire but they’ll be singing.) Sunday morning at 11:45 the VBS kids sing for the congregation! VBS is a wonderful time to have kids share what they have learned with the congregation. Children help lead worship by sharing the songs they have learned.
