ARTS on Wednesdays at All Saints
Spring '10 Session - Begins on April 7
Registration Opens March 17
With NEW classes and returning favorites - invite your friends!
What is ARTS? An after-school program entering its 4th year where kids can discover and develop their gifts in the arts in a safe, fun and nurturing environment. ARTS was inspired by the popularity of our annual Arts Camp held each June and the desire of participants to have an after-school version.
ARTS Tuition: Tuition is $30 per student for the 6-week semester of classes. Students will choose from 2 - 3 elective classes in the visual, music and performing arts. Tuition includes all materials, instruction and weekly snacks for a semester.
In order to keep this important ministry going and growing and to expand into more art forms, it became necessary to institute student tuition in January 2009 to offset rising costs. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE – please ask! There is a space provided on the registration form to request scholarships.

Volunteer Opportunities for ARTS
Snacks-Children prepare their own simple snacks…(personal pizzas, nachos, cupcakes, trail-mix to name a few.) Volunteers help kids make their snack also food donations are welcome.
Fun & Fellowship-Adult interaction with the kids is a must at All Saints! We believe Intergenerational programming is a true blessing for all involved. Kids need adults to call them by name, play and care about their attendance at ARTS. If you like kids (and like playing like one) this opportunity is for you.
Choir Assistant-The children learn how to sing but a few extra voices helps kids feel confident as they learn new songs. You may help with the kids in grades 1 through 3 or grades 4 through 6.
Drama Leader/Assistant-Kids learn the basics of stage and acting by rehearsing skits. Skits are performed during worship.
Visual Arts-Classes can be anything that help kids find a way to express themselves. Examples of classes range from leather crafting, woodworking, metal work, painting, watercolors, wire-desigh, If you have an a artistic gift you would like to share please come and share...if you are exploring your own creativity and would like to learn and share time with the kids that's welcome too. Please don't hesitate because in the eyes of God it is all great!
Culinary Arts-If you're a wiz in the kitchen or just like to make, eat and enjoy then share what you know! In this day of fast food and take-out kids will enjoy learning the difference between Betty Crocker and made from scratch. What ever the dish hot or cold kids will enjoy learning and eating.
