Regular Events Cancelled - Join Us Online

Saturday, March 14th, 2020

Dear Members and Friends of All Saints,

Along with you, we have been prayerfully monitoring and discussing the unfolding situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.  This morning we received a communication from Bishop Deborah Hutterer, Bishop of the Grand Canyon Synod of the ELCA, strongly recommending that all ELCA congregations in the synod suspend public worship gatherings, events and meetings until at least April 1st.  In light of this recommendation, and out of our own sense of concern for vulnerable members of our congregation and community, we have cancelled Saturday and Sunday worship services for the remainder of March.  We have also cancelled all remaining midweek Lenten services, as well as all other church-sponsored meetings, gatherings, events and in-person ministries through April 1st.

This is not a decision that we take lightly, but one that comes out of our deep commitment to caring for one another, and especially the most vulnerable people among us.  While we are practicing some physical distance for a time, we remain the body of Christ, and are actively working to bring people the good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ.  Pastor Dan will be posting a sermon online later today, and our staff remains in regular communication about how best to extend pastoral care, education, and worship opportunities to our members and community during this time.  Check our website and Facebook page frequently for the most current information about these efforts.

Please remember during this difficult time that your stewardship remains vital in supporting our ability to be church together and care for each other.  Please continue to fulfill your financial pledge through mail or online giving, which can be set up through your financial institution, or the church website:

Know that both of us welcome your questions, concerns and suggestions via phone or email, and your prayers most of all.  Prayer requests can also be submitted through our church website through this link:  As always, we remain grateful to be in ministry with all of you, and confident that the love of God, the grace of Christ, and the communion of the Holy Spirit will hold us together and see us through.
