MOMS Connect

MOMS Connect
New Group for our Moms

Moms Connect is a semi-NEW group. Last year we started a ministry for those moms who were unable to make MOPS in the mornings. The group was small but well worth the effort. Whenever we can be there for another mom we are certainly happy to do it. This year we are going to try something a touch different. The group will not be tied to MOPS, but rather a place for moms who want some time with other women to listen to speakers, make a craft, eat some dinner with lively discussions, learn how to do all the things we do just a little differently or better or with more love. We want this group to be open to any women who are acting in a parental role with a child in the house.

The meetings will take place once a month, the first Tuesday of the month from
6:30-8:30pm in Room 203
.
Dinner will be catered and childcare will be provided (with prior notification of need). Registration is $75 for the year and that will include food and childcare, scholarships are available.

If you have questions, please reach out to Pastor Kristin – KRice@allsaintsphoenix.org or Sommar Nelson - sommarnelson@hotmail

MOPS at All Saints

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS International exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.  Our MOPS ministry is a tribe of mothers that comes together to support, encourage, and celebrate. We are a safe place to be yourself, share struggles, help one another, and grow. We are women that understand that perfection in motherhood looks as different as God’s perfect creations do. MOPS fills your cup so you have more to pour out at home.
MOPS Meets: Every Thursday at 9:00am-11:30am and every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm.

MOPS is about ...

  • Celebrating motherhood
  • Meeting needs
  • Making Connections
  • Experiencing God’s love...
    through relationships and resources

Joy Circle Women's Bible Study Group

Joy Circle

Tuesday, March 5th at 9:00am in the Life Building Café

The ladies of the Joy Circle meet monthly for discussion of the study found in Gather, the magazine of the Women of the ELCA (WELCA).

The current study is a four part series The Gospel of John: Meetings with Jesus.  Session three: Friends for life in Christ focuses on a woman caught in adultery, a man born blind, and Jesus’ friends Mary, Martha and Lazarus. Through their stories, we come to see how Jesus meets us with mercy, healing and hope in the face of judgment, rejection and grief. We share in Jesus’ final conversation with his disciples before his arrest, where he shows us his love and prays for us.

If you’d like more information, contact Kevin Harpel in the church office.
