Leadership and Hospitality

Contact: Courtney Krueger, Communications Administrator

Assisting Minister: Represent the ministry of the congregation by assisting the pastors in leading the liturgy.

Worship Coordinator: Work with the pastors to ensure that everything -- and everyone! -- is in place for worship on Sunday morning.

Lector: Prayerfully prepare for and read scripture lessons in worship.

Communion Assistant: Serve Holy Communion to God's people and offer God's blessing to those who do not receive the Sacrament.

Acolyte: Assist the pastors by serving as crucifers, candlelighters and book bearers. Provide support for the Communion Assistants. (Children must complete Acolyte training.)

Greeter: Offer a warm smile, a handshake and a word of welcome as people enter the sanctuary.

Usher: Welcome people to worship with warmth. Ensure that worshipers have the materials(bulletins, hearing enhancers, etc.) they need and help them find their way to seats.

Donut Server: Host coffee hour between Sunday worship services.

Welcome Cart Attendant: Welcome and assist visitors by offering a smile, information and directions.

Home Communion: Servers carry Holy Communion from worship to members/friends who are unable to attend worship. (contact Tammy Follensbee)

Support

Contact: Jerry Gunderson, Director of Worship and Music

Audio/Visual Team: Operate the sound and A/V equipment during worship so that people may see and hear clearly. These members of the team our integral to our live-streaming of worship services.

Altar Guild: As part of a team help to prepare the sanctuary for worship, including preparing the altar for Holy Communion and coordinating banners as needed. Wash acolyte and assisting minister vestments once each month.

Visual Arts for Worship: For those with creativity in visual arts and interior décor -- help to beautify our worship environment for different seasons of the church year.
